Pricing policy

We strive to have pricing that is straight-forward, and inclusive. We don’t give you a low starting price and then have additional charges for the things that we consider bowl necessities like great seats and hotels, things you would like to have like gameday transportation and things that you don’t want like taxes. You get a bottom-line price that includes everything listed in the package. We attempt to be very clear on our package descriptions so that you know exactly what you are getting for you money.  Most of the time that will include your game tickets, gameday transportation or parking, your hotel room, airport transportation, all taxes and bowl events and extras that vary from game to game.

Where Do Your Tickets Come From?

Every package that is purchased on BOWLJET.com includes tickets that we purchase directly from the bowl. That is the only way that we can assure you without any doubt that the tickets you get will be valid and that the tickets will be exactly what we promised they will be If we take any tickets in trade, or if we buy tickets from sources other than the bowl directly, those are not sold through different channels and not as part of our packages.

How do you get such good seats?

 You may wonder how we were able to get front row sideline seats, or prime tickets. While I cannot disclose some of the methods, we do buy a lot of tickets and we do buy them early in the season. Other companies may offer low prices for packages that include the inferior seats with expensive add-ons to get better seats. We just start out giving you great seats.

How do you select your partner hotels?

The selection of our hotel partners is very important to me.  I personally visit hotels in every city where we offer packages and consider the location, the amenities, the price, the service and amenities offered, and of course, the condition of the hotel.  I talk to the staff and ultimately look for places where everyone seems to enjoy their job and helping guests.  People have different tastes in hotels, some people like high floors, some people like low floors.  Some people want to be near the elevator, and others want to be as far away as possible, but ultimately someone has to be near it. I look for properties where I have no doubt that the staff will help you with any of your concerns, if at all possible.

What exactly does CarFree mean?

That means that we designed your package so that you do not need to rent a car for this trip unless you want to. This can save you several hundred dollars during the course of a week. You know you’ll be at the game one day, and maybe participating in bowl events on another.  If you need to use a car for only a day or two, it will probably cost you less to take our shuttle and rent a car only when you need it.  The way it works is if you have checked bags, claim your bags, and proceed to the designated shuttle desk. The shuttle will drive you to your hotel. We use different providers in different cities. Information specific to you will be provided in your game information package.

Do I accumulate points from loyalty programs?                                                                                                         

 Policies vary from hotel to hotel. We do not guarantee hotel points or miles at any property, but it never hurts to ask.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is typically at 3 p.m. and check-out time typically is noon. You can request an early check-in or check-out, but it cannot be guaranteed. The hotels that we use have luggage rooms if you need to drop your bags off early. 

What will I need at check-in?

You will need a photo ID and a charge card for incidentals.

Can I have one/two beds or adjoining rooms?

There will always be a spot to sleep for everyone in your party that you purchase a package for. If our reservation is for a specific type of bedding that limits the number of people in a room, it will say so in the product description. Otherwise, bed choice is at the discretion of the hotel and you can request whatever you prefer.  We just do not and cannot guarantee it. Adjoining rooms are kind of the same way, we can request it, and while it has always something that has been able to be accommodated in the past, we cannot guarantee it can happen .

Why doesn’t the hotel have my name on the reservation list?

 Hotels have different policies for groups. When we buy a block of rooms, we provide the names to the hotel at a later date. We typically submit one or two lists to the hotel depending on what they require. When you get your confirmation email from us, it means that you have the room at the hotel that you selected. We control our inventory so that if we are offering a room, we have it in inventory or being held with our guarantee.

What about children?

 Each stadium has a policy on whether or not children need their own ticket for the game. For example, for events held at Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium, children that have reached their second birthday must have their own ticket for the game. At the Outback Bowl, children that are three and under are free as long as they don’t take up a seat. For information on the game and package you are interested in, check the notes at the bottom of the tables that compare packages at each game.

Why do you do land-only packages*

Our packages are designed to allow you the maximum flexibility with your travel arrangements.  Are you driving? Want to use frequent flyer miles for your flights?  Do you prefer a certain airline? That’s okay with us.  Can you save money by flying out on Tuesday instead of Monday? Are you and your friends coming from different places and meeting for the game? No problem. All of our packages include a base number of days that you can add to if you want to come early or stay late.   *Select packages for BCS games include the option of air transportation because of extremely high travel demand to BCS games.

 How can I sit by my friends? We bought our packages individually.

If you and your friends want to sit together, just let me know. Please remember, that it depends on seating availability, but if you and your friends each buy a similar package, we’ll should be able to sit you together.

Is your website secure?

You’ll notice when you start looking at product, the http on the top left of the address bar becomes a https site. We pay for SSL encryption on our site, so that your information is always secure.

 What payment methods do you accept?

We use PayPal as the processor for our bowl packages, which allows you to pay with Mastercard, Visa, American Express or PayPal. We also will accept checks, money orders or bank checks if arranged prior to purchase. If you pay with those methods, you will still need to use a charge card at the hotel.
